CT Site Wanganui relocation to Gilberd Street
Over the last few months, KiwiRail has undertaken a review of the Container Transfer (CT) site Operations at Taupo Quay, Wanganui. In view of improving operational efficiency, KiwiRail has made the decision to consolidate containerised operations to 53 Gilberd Street, Castlecliff and utilise the services of our partners at Ali Arc. Cat-in-the –box Chiefie reunited with family
Shane and Julie Keppel had the family’s move from Christchurch to Auckland all planned. Their belongings were to be moved by rail; the couple and their two children would come up in the family house-bus, and the family cat Chiefie would be flown up once they were settled into their new home. Chiefie however had other ideas. Unbeknown to his family, he chose to travel by rail instead.Read more
