Ancillary Surcharges
KiwiRail and Interislander freight services include a range of additional (ancillary) charges on top of standard freight costs. These fall into several categories, including:
- booking-related charges,
- equipment-related charges,
- extra services,
- dangerous goods charges, and
- third-party charges.
This document should be read alongside the Conditions of Carriage and the Freight Handling Code. Customers should ensure they understand all applicable costs when planning to use these services.
