The Original Cook Strait Ferry
The Interislander is an extension of State Highway 1, linking road and rail networks between the North and South Island. As New Zealand’s original Cook Strait ferry service, we stand out with over 50 years of experience.
Our two ferries make around 2,300 sailings each year and cater for commercial trucks, livestock, refrigerated units, hazardous goods, over-dimensional freight and machinery.
